Camping will be available on a limited basis at the festival site….. limited due to all the other gear there for the fair…… like giant carnival rides and such….. Let us know if you’re interested in camping (and jamming) at the festival site and we’ll get as many in as possible.
There is also camping available at Ramona R.V. Park and Dos Picos County Park, but hangin out at the festival site will be prime……..
Camping will also be available at Dos Picos County Park, at the west end of town down Mussey Grade Road.

Unlimited dry camping spots are available.
FRIDAY NIGHT JAM – The Ridgerunners will be kicking things off this year with a BIG JAM over in the camping area on Friday night around sundown. That’s the way to start off a festival!
CAMPING AREAS: There are two areas for camping……. The EAST CAMPING AREA is on the extreme east end of the Festival Site, east of the rodeo arena. There is also an extension of that area south of the rodeo arena bleachers accessed from the same point. The second is the WEST CAMPING AREA – west of the main parking lot for cars. This large field can accommodate the most amount of campers. It is bordered on the south by the festival event site and the Ramona FFA semi-covered and fenced area and to the north by the Santa Maria Creek.
We have the Santa Maria creek (creek-bed when not flowing, but it sometimes does in May) all along the north side of the camping area. There are a lot of Willows and pines and other trees & shrubs providing shade and privacy. The space is so big we can accommodate several hundred Tent Sites & R.V.s ….. and – many separate jams going concurrently.
Bring your own seating, blankets, etc. into the festival site for your comfort and enjoyment while listening to the entertainment. Please, no high backed chairs since they would block the view of the folks behind you.
Coolers, food, drinks, alcohol and other containers for these types of items are not allowed into the festival site. There will be food and drink sales available, including several types of alcoholic beverages, sodas and water. Hand stamps will allow festival attendees to enter and exit the site at leisure. Thanks for your cooperation.
EARLY BIRD CHECK IN TIME: You can come as early as 9:00 A.M. on Friday Morning. It’s all First Come / First Served, so come early and get your preferred spot. You can come and check in at any other time during the festival, although not too late as we need a little sleep in the wee hours to rest up for the next day!
We are opening up the area behind the South Rodeo Bleacher Stands this year for a few select spots that are a bit more secluded. Most campers prefer to be out where the jamming is going on but I bet there will be some fine jammin goin on back there too! … Miss Susan says that when you’re camping AND jamming that you’re JAMPING ….
GENERATOR SHUT OFF TIME: No Generators after 9:00 p.m. please – and if there is a big jam going on nearby please be considerate of your noise pollution – the music is what we’re all here for, so don’t drown it out.
DOGS & OTHER PETS: These critters are allowed in the camping areas on a leash but please clean up after em….. Sorry but we can’t take them into the festival site itself due to insurance regs… but remember, you can go back & forth from the main venue to your campsite as much as you like.
CHECK OUT TIME: For those campers that will be staying late on Sunday, for a discounted camping fee of $10, we can let you avoid the big rush to leave after the festivities Sunday and hang out overnight until Monday morning if you like. Make sure you pay for Sunday night when you check in so they don’t try & boot you out on Sunday evening….
Send an e-mail (contact page) if you want to camp…. or call 1 (760) 216-1459.
We don’t really have numbered camping areas…. just messin with you a little bit…..
